“He Works Best Who Knows His Trade”

Know Your Trade

Have you ever wonder if you know everything that you’re supposed to know about your trade?

I mean really???

A lot of people seem to think that if they go to college, get a degree in something, that’s all they have to do to be successful at what they’re getting into.

They rarely see that the chance of them becoming uninterested in what they’re studying is high. Or that the skill they’re spending so much time learning about may not be in demand or may become obsolete in the near future… They just want to finish their schooling, get the paper and be done with it.

They forget that many people have degrees yet still cannot find employment in their field of study.

Nevertheless, there are those lucky ones who do and are very happy.

However, there are also those who don’t. They spend years regretting time wasted and contemplating what to do next?

Rarely do people ask themselves; “Have I learned all that there is to know about my field of study?” Or, “What more can I learn?” Or, ” Is there another option available to me, if not actual similar?”.

No-one, after years of studying a particular field of interest is prone to going back and learning more about that particular interest that they initially began studying… Chances are no.

They most likely would take what knowledge they can then move on to the next interest. Which may or may not be a good idea, It depends.

Do you know your trade like the back of your hand?

The ins and outs?

If asked to explain your trade to someone that knows absolutely nothing about it. Training them and providing enough information to get them started on their way on doing exactly what you do… Can you? Would you?

If you know your job, you can work best of all… If you’re concerned about competition then you obviously don’t know your trade as well as you may think you do.

There may be many that can do the job you can do, but do they know the trade like you?

Recently, I have noticed a huge amount of spin-offs on my trade of live, recorded and written music reviews.

Those creative individuals work hard to make themselves as unique as possible. Yet will hardly come close to what I’m capable of doing or can hardly keep up with the knowledge that I have obtained with years of combined training and experience.

Each person should know what their capabilities are and should be able to explain to any other person, the methodology involving their trade.

They should be able to relay exactly what they do. How to do it and how to keep doing it.

They should be able to teach it to other individuals simply and efficiently.

That’s what makes me exceptional at what I do. I am confident enough to know that I am #1 at underground, unsigned and unheard music reviews.

I have an extensive “unproven” background in the music business from since I was a teenager. (Unproven ONLY because of the lack of recent technological advances that I didn’t have access to back in the day or access to the many different and current types of recording equipment that are available to us now that weren’t available to us back then.).

Here is a small list of my talents and skills.

1. I have been transcribing music onto paper since 1984. Preparing music sheets for Copyright©.

2. I’ve been playing the piano/keyboards for YEARS… As long as I can remember.

3. I can listen to any music piece and play all parts. May take a few listens but I can play the piece.

4. I was one of the very first people to do Live music reviews in 2014 and 2015… Right on Facebook…    (Now look how many people are doing the same thing!) I moved on from that because too many people are doing it now… (Go figure, its time for something else.).

5.I just know my s**t… (When writing music reviews, one must have a grasp of what the artist was thinking while creating the track, (My specialty). Not just listen to the music piece and talk about it…

6. I can tell how the artist was feeling and what motivated them to write the music score by just listening to the lyrics. Also, if the music was created using actual instruments versus being created with digital equipment.

7. I have built up an enormous contact list of popular and experienced music professionals. Professionals that are into commercial advertisement, journalism, performing arts and have been in the business of helping unheard artists get their music out to the public and heard by eager listeners. These Professionals are also in search of new talent and are willing to teach their trade to others as well. My contacts also have extensive track records in the music business also in the production and recording business.

Know Your Worth

The reason why I no longer write music reviews is because I know my worth…

I Can’t do freebies anymore and some people don’t want to pay, are reluctant to pay or can’t afford my editorial services.

Plus… It takes time to review a musical piece. Time is money💁.

You can’t just listen to a recording and just #talk about the artist without discussing the other aspects involved… Like how the artist got to where he or she is right now… Everybody has a story…

Also just like promotion, providing artist links, creating discographies, assembling graphics and general support or business referrals… (Which some people do for themselves but others have no clue on how to do or what looks good or what graphics/video/advertisment fit with the music score, etc.).

I know my trade… That’s what makes me and my services Unique. 😊

I’m proud of the work that I have done for companies such as Exposed Vocals and others that have nothing to do with the industry.

My music reviews and work history are exclusive…

My Live music reviews would be unique because of what I know how to do.

I Don’t just stick to one or two genres… I go across the board… I tackle #All types of music genres. No specific kind of music, although I have my favorites.

I read music… I write music… I transcribe music… I create music… I produce… I sing… I dance… I act…

But most of all I share what I know… So that others can benefit… Whether it be benefiting by doing what I do or something else.

I love it when people are motivated and hundreds of people have been motivated by my efforts into becoming professional with my hobbies such as making music or photography.

I have even advised people…

I have created legal documents, such as contracts etc.

Even created a list of interview questions many years ago, (those are the questions that I used to ask artists in general), during exclusive interviews.

I know my trade…👊😎

So do you know your trade?

Can you teach others what you do?

Are you willing to?

What

If you are and you do, then you know your trade well… That makes for a person that does their job very well indeed!

The Bad Attitude

The only disability in life is a bad attitude.

People all over can tell when a person has a bad attitude for nothing or when they’re having an over exaggerated attitude about a situation being addressed.

You’ve seen it. A mother and her child gets on a bus. It seems like she has everything under control. But only after few moments you begin to notice who’s really in control.

You begin to offer to help the women but she refuses all offers of help with her out-of-control little demon monster child. Oh, come on…

You know you’ve seen those types of children. Hell-bent on making every waking minute of their caregivers day a re-livable nightmare.

How can a bad attitude be handled?

Well, first of all, When you are faced with a problem, you must adopt an attitude of “you can and will solve it.”

MAINTAINING the right attitude is easier than REGAINING the right attitude. For example, getting frustrated about observing an out of control child on a bus giving their caregiver problems. You may at times think that this person has their hands full and then some or even “what would you do if” kind of scenario, you can’t help but wonder.

Who’s in control, you or that attitude?

Have you heard this before? “If you don’t control your attitude, then your attitude will control you.” A bad attitude is like a flat tire, you won’t be able to move forward unless you change it.

A person can seriously change their future just by changing their attitude. Anything that we face cannot be as important as our attitude toward it.

Our attitude determines our success or failure towards any given task or subject and the way you think about a subject could break you before you can ever do anything about it. You are overcome by the subject because you think you are.

In all and in every case, it’s two things that will define you, your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.

Because in life things are rarely perfect. Nevertheless, there is an opposition to all things. Up-down, left-right, good-bad… The scale is always balanced and people are the only creatures on the planet that have a choice on which side to choose.

You control your attitude. If you are negative it is because you have decided to be negative and not because of other people or circumstances. Your attitude is the only thing in life that you do have absolute control over.

You create beauty with your attitude, and it’s your behaviors, your reactions and your actions that determine how much beauty there is to enjoy. It’s all up to you!

Everyone should understand that everything should be considered subjective. A regular person’s circumstances have nothing to do with their past or present events and their perception of those events along with the attitude and manner that they choose to approach it.

When we are on a journey we don’t fear change, we welcome it, we look forward to new and unfamiliar experiences, we are full of optimism because we are filled with the expectation of a wonderful adventure and it’s the perfect attitude to carry with you every day because life too is a journey. ~Anonymous

Unfamiliar Circumstances Shape Attitudes

When we experience unfamiliar circumstances, we Are usually filled with optimism because we expect a positive experience. Having the right attitude, can without a doubt, carry you cheerfully through your journey’s end.

The attitude should be that if you’re being pushed towards something that is thought of as a weakness, then it can turn a perspective weakness into an exceptional strength.

When your knowledge speaks, your wisdom will be listening.

It is your attitude towards life that will determine life’s attitude towards you. Despite many people’s belief to the contrary, life pays no favorites ~ Anonymous

When it comes to the attitude I’m sure that all people have had their fair share of recognizing another person attitude as offensive than having to tolerate a bad one.

Either way, we should be taking negative attitudes that may possibly come to our ways, such as insults or smart quirky or obnoxious verbal taunts that others may hurl at you and make something positive from them.

“Laugh…and the whole world laughs with you. Cry and you’re usually crying alone.

How To Manage Your Past, Present and Future

Many people have trouble with problems that develop from their past bubble up into their present and spilling over into their future.

How can a person manage their past, deal with their present and remain calm, cool and collected about their future?

Some people got this covered because they are well aware of their past, they make sure that they plan for the future, they live for today, and acknowledge that yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.

People should realize that no matter how dirty their past is their future is still spotless. Another thing that people don’t realize is just because their past didn’t turn out as they wanted, doesn’t mean that their future can’t be better than they’d ever imagined.

They tell us “Do not look back,” because there is nothing back there worth regretting. They tell us “Do not grieve over the past”because it’s gone. They tell us “Do not be troubled about the future,” because simply put, it’s not here yet.

They advise us to “Live in the present” and make it beautiful. So beautiful that it will be worth remembering. Something about the human character.

Your character is far more important than your past or your future. Of course, it’s who you are that matters, not what you’ve done or will do and worrying doesn’t empty your tomorrow of troubles. It empties today of its strength.

The fact that people often tend to panic during their present is no trivial affair. Panic usually precedes worry and if people can control the present circumstances, they wouldn’t be worried about those circumstances growing into a tumultuous affair.

Here’s another issue. After panic mode, people somehow get caught-up living in the past. This is the solution. Just remember that the only thing we should do about what happened in the past is to learn from it.

Yesterday, good and bad, is now a part of your history. It’s as if at the end of the day a page of your life or chapter of the story of your life has ended. Unless you enjoyed that read very much you wouldn’t go back and read it again. You move on, move forward to the next page.

You should be anticipating the beginning of the next page or chapter of your life. Instead of dwelling on the memory of what you just finished reading.

The story of your tomorrow is unknown… Each new sentence or new paragraph of the book of your life is completely unknown. In fact, the following pages if what you’re about to read are blank. There is absolutely nothing written in it.

That’s only because you haven’t gone through that life or that page or that particular part, sentence, page Or chapter yet.

Tomorrow is like a dream. Or like the opposite of Deja Vu¹. It’s a dream of hope and passion not of repetition and bewilderment. So don’t let the memories of your history worry your present or disrupt the hopes of your future.

If you do, you’ll get old fast. My mother always said, “Getting old is when you become a person with a long past and a short future.” That is the outcome for any person that lives in their past. The following anonymous Letter To The World says it all.

The Past HAS No Power

The past has no power over the present moment. Never has, never will. However, that won’t help people from using it against you. Just know that whatever the circumstance You cannot change the people around you, but you can change the people you choose to be around.

This is not a new thing for people to know the cost of everything and the value of nothing or what a thing is worth. Same goes for our lives.

People value different things and they wouldn’t be afraid to hold you to a trivial word or two uttered the day before. Or they won’t be hesitant to find you of some instance that you would like to forget.

Don’t be upset with people and situations in your life because both are powerless without your reaction.

People will never understand those decisions you make unless they have experienced how hard it was to be in your place.

Everything you have been through was preparing you for where you are right now, and where you can be tomorrow. It’s like you want what you can’t have and once you get it you don’t want it anymore.

When it comes to your own past, the people in your life may not give you second chances or may be reluctant to give you a second chance just keep in mind that LIFE always does.

The best things in life are not free

The best thing about the past is that it shows you what not to bring into your future. How can you find the value of your past?

If you remember how much it cost you to obtain your college degree or any finishing diploma, you will be astonished to know that your personal history has a specific value. It is your past that is someone else future. The lessons in your life will be someone else’s lesson. As with all lessons, the impact of retaining the lessons for later use far outweighs the memories of those long forgotten subjects that had no perspective value. Making what you learn a waste of time. Nevertheless, the present is what your rewards will be. Furthermore, the future, in turn, will be your motivation.

Your, past, present and future are the best things in your life. putting value on your entire life. Makes it worth living, regardless of the circumstances.

TOP DEFINITION URBAN DICTIONARY

¹Something that very few people know the true meaning of. Even though deja vu is French for “already seen”, it actually is used to describe the strange feeling you get when you’re in a situation and feel like you’ve been in the exact same situation before, but really haven’t. Most people think it means the same thing happening twice, which is wrong. Get it, the right people!
Jack: Hrmm.
Bob: What?
Jack: I could have sworn I’ve been here before. But I know I haven’t.
Bob: Heh. Deja vu?
Jack. Yeah. What a strange feeling!

Getting Tripped Up From Obstacles Lately?

Never let any hurdles big or small in life trip you up and stop you from achieving your goals in life.

Getting tripped up from obstacles lately? Well, this is a famous quote that I recently came across. Decided this seems like an appropriate topic to cover these days. We are living in a troublesome era and it’s becoming more and more difficult to discern whether or not its safe to do anything these days. Even going outside seems to be precarious.

The fact of the matter is that Sometimes we feel like we want to give up, but deep inside, we should be positively certain that we are all just warming up. Gearing up for what’s ahead.

The Struggle is Real

We may experience life changes and major challenges even from the worst case scenario ever. But we should never be too afraid of fighting for what’s right for you and what’s for the better. What Trips people up in their day-to-day struggle is they Don’t work until they get it right. What they should be doing is Working until they can’t get it wrong.

People need to realize that It’s not important to achieve everything at first try or at one go. However, it’s extremely important to make positive progress in reasonable time. The timing is critical… But don’t let That trip you up.

Never quit. If you stumble to get back up. What happened yesterday no longer matters. Today’s another day to get back on track and move closer to your dreams and goals. You can do it!

We hear our close companions encourage us in our journey to fulfill our hopes and dreams yet time and again something seems to knock us off our game. You have a choice! You can throw in the towel or you can use it to wipe the sweat off your face. A failure is not always necessarily a mistake, it may simply be the best action that one can do at that circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying or giving up. If you’re concerned about limits and limitations? Don’t be discouraged about limits, they are just a state of mind. A person can always push themselves to do better, no matter what the cost might be. Keep going at it and you will succeed. Keep in mind that there are pleasant ways to get around unpleasant obstacles.

Just In Case You’re Still Wondering Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all. Don’t let the thoughts of failure stop you from trying, even when you fail, it’s not enough to give up. The light bulb itself finally found success after so many trials. The question isn’t who’s going to let you; it’s who’s going to stop you. In life, we will never know what kind of result we will get until we try our very best, and see it through, whatever it is until the end. If it’s good work you’re doing, or If you’re doing good work, don’t stop keep working.

Experiencing negative situations, like trip-ups and negative people along the way? Don’t worry, no matter what others say or how much they discourage you. Keep trying.

Remember that winners lose so much more often than losers. So if you keep losing but you’re still trying you’re still on the right track! If you fall, rise back up, shake it off dust yourself off and try again. Never give up, and never stop trying to achieve the goals and dreams that you know you deserve. My Lessons Learned “I have failed countless times and still kept going. It’s because I’ve learned that the more times I fail, the more I will learn. It doesn’t hurt to keep trying and the long-term benefits… Well, just by sticking to the program, regardless of getting tripped up.” ~Linda Dawkins This can be life-transforming. I can honestly say that things have changed in my life for the better. I’ve become wiser in my choices and the lives of those around me, mainly my family, friends, associates, and business partners have been blessed as a result of my persistence. Nevertheless, some people will always prefer to see you down and lower, but use that to motivate yourself into working harder and growing better. Don’t reduce your efforts just because you’re missing the target, nothing great comes simple. Steady your aim and train harder. Then you won’t be getting tripped up by those obstacles that do inevitable that come along our way. What did you think would happen? “Too much that has been given, much shall be required...” What happens after you succeed at whatever you attempted? Well, success is earned, right? After we earn something it becomes our own. However, nothing earned id completely deserved unless it is shared with others. You can have everything in the world but do you deserve it? Some may argue, Of Course, you deserve it, after all, your blood, sweat, and tears went into, that struggle to obtain the little bit you do have… It’s yours. You deserve it. I won’t condemn you, in fact, by all means, enjoy your rewards. There’s just one thing that you should know.

Once you cross those hurdles, it’s not over. There will be more… And more… And more.

Those things that trip you up, will keep pouring right in. But remember this. You don’t have to go through them alone. Teamwork makes the dream work! True words. No man is an island, no man stands alone. How critical are the critics? The most prevalent, most repeated and biggest mistake people make in life is worrying about what everyone else thinks. Nevertheless, their criticism is necessary if you ever truly want to succeed. Getting angry, then alienating yourself and avoiding conflict only makes matters worse and prolongs actual progress that could lead to more successful experiences. Bottom line, evidence shows that educated people change themselves according to their situations, and apparently, experienced people change situations according to them. The inexperienced continue to experience failure or trip-ups. If the inexperienced try, keep trying, they too will have more positive results in whatever they’re faced with. Either way, success is on the horizon. You may not see it right away, but it is coming. Learn from your past, make a plan for your future keep working for it until you get it in your presence. Because today is tomorrows past and yesterdays tomorrow. What can be learned from this? “Least we become as little children…” ~J.C. We have all seen it. Children, of all ages, kind hearts, compassionate, forgiving and strong people. All we need to do is look at their example. For some strange reason, we grown-ups forgot what its like to be a child. We have become hardened by the devastating effects of experience being our teachers and of course, along with experience are those frequent difficult lessons, that sometimes come with their own bumps and bruises from trip-ups. The fact remains that children, get up fast when they trip. The cry when they’re hurt, expressing their feelings, by releasing negative energy, by crying… Something that grown-ups rarely do. Release, let go and start over… That’s what they do. However, children are best consoled with help from someone, for example; A close friend, parent, grandparent, sibling etc. The same goes for us grown-ups. We are strong alone or with the help of others.

Managing Difficulties Issues Before they Get Easy

Managing difficulties before they get easy is not as simple as we think. Or at least until it’s over. I have heard people say to others, condescending statements like, You should have thought about that before you began! ” or “You should have known how hard it would be! “ and, Uh-huh, even, “… you got yourself into it, now you’ve gotta get yourself out. “

Yep… I have even heard that before and am no stranger to condescending comments from people who were supposed to be my friends…

Some are ok and we find that they are dependable. They provide some support too and for us during our specific trials, while others turn tail and run. I think we all have seen this. Nevertheless, we are rarely alone in our sufferings unless we make it so.

I think we all fairly can say that we have been through the wringer and out again or know someone who has.

These are the people who I consider and who should consider themselves as…

•The Champions of Survival

•The Mistress and Masters of Struggle

•The Dominators of Deals

•Managers of Negotiations

Let’s get right into them, shall we!

*The Champion of Survival*

Being Courageous

Their Courage “In the Absence of Danger” is Admirable, to say the least. But to most its Stupidity or Arrogance. Because the opposite of Bravery and Courage is Stupidity and Arrogance. You would have to be either Brave or Stupid to access Courage and Bravery in the face of danger. It all depends on how you see it. If you see your situation as passable with an, “I’ll get by!” kind of Attitude.

They are the ones who rightfully walk away from things that don’t encourage them to excel. They also encourage those around them and those with whom they have sufficient influence to excel.

*The Master of Struggle*

For Inspiration

They inspire us to see outside our own boxes and search for freedom beyond our own front doors. By the examples that they set in their own lives. In regards to how they handle their difficulties when compared to our own.

These are the people who “When faced with a challenge “, they stand strong. When life challenges them, they don’t give up. They hold their head up high.

They are blessed with a tremendous amount of Faith and Favor with you and just about everyone they come across and Firmly Believe that everything will work out in the end. “… and thus it goes.”

*The Dominator of Deals*

Daring to Dream

These people are the ones who strongly believe that Everyone’s life has positive and negative aspects whether they’re happy, successful or not. Also, that it depends greatly on which aspects they focus on.

Preferring the former, of staying positive rather than the later. They are willing to negotiate, make deals and compromise in order to actively work to resolve crucial issues making major sacrifices along the way for the greater good, hoping that things will get better at the end.

The dominator of deals has hope enough for the entire team, family, crew etc. They are the ones with that spark in their eye. The one with all the ideas on how to get out of that rut. They take chances and take risks. Their ideas are far-fetched but usually work out in the long-term. Daring to dream

*Managers of negotiations*

In Harmony

These are the people who are capable of performing nothing but modern-day miracles. They are the ones who are the peacekeepers encouraging others around them that things will inevitably get better. When they do get better, they are able to help others focus on rebuilding and fixing problems rather than ignoring or disputing them, because they are aware that time is our enemy and in order to make the best use if our time is to live harmoniously.

If and When these people faced with their challenges, it seems as though they flawlessly initiate then execute the most clever responses as a means to resolve those… (What it seems to be like) … every given situation, that they are challenged with and Somehow, manage to get through… it seems… without a scratch.

I know you’ve heard someone share their glory story and someone in that conversation say;

“… Man… The Luck People Have!”

Or, “Wow… That’s a Blessing!”

And you’re right! Because it very well may be that person truly came out with nothing more than something as simple as a bruised ego at the least. That’s possible…

We all have the unique opportunity to experience these challenges. Some of us may go through much more difficult trials and have tragic experiences that are more severe and have mortal consequences than others.

That’s not to say that one person cross challenge is more difficult to bear than another person or that person challenge is equally as challenging as another person Managing those difficulties may or may not depend upon the individual experiencing the experience.

It’s just in the way that the individual constructively adjusts to those hardships that sometimes continuously disappointment.

However, In every instant, with every person, there are those times that we may experience that annoying feeling of being overwhelmed and let down.

They may even feel like there’s no end in sight to managing those present and overly persistent issues that we are faced with from time to time. However, we are rightfully advised to not be discouraged.

Why?

“To reach your

Destination, you need

a Direction, but you

can’t get there

without Inspiration!”

Our Difficulties Inspire Us To Make Change

Ever wondered why…

“There is so much that you want to do… Where do you start?” Or…

” You have so many creative ideas… How do you get them out?”

In the time it takes to figure out what you want to do and to actually get started on doing it, others in the same field are already finishing their journey and/or are ready for retirement.

How did They do it?

Ever asked yourself questions like…

How do I catch up with the rest of the world?

Hold on a minute…

Slow your horses…

You’re going way too fast…

Chill out and listen for a sec.

Our difficulties are measured by our ability to persevere through them

That means that all those questions that you ask yourself don’t apply to you…

They won’t apply to you until you complete whatever task that is set before you. Or that particular difficulty that you are faced with.

What I can promise you that either way, you look at it, whether negatively or positively, the situation will still be there and turning a blind eye will not change things for the better or make those difficult issues disappear.

We can’t control everything that happens in or about our lives, but we can work towards specific goals that will give us something positive to focus on. It also will lay down the foundation for your future success.

It’s never too late. A determined mind and a positive attitude will increase your ability to achieve and succeed in any goal you want in life and the management of your difficulties BEFORE they get easy will be a much smoother event.

It’s Mind Over Matter

A Few Cool Facts

Your mind is a powerful thing. When you fill it with positive thoughts, your life will start to change.

In every negative, it is possible to find a positive. Sometimes it is hard to find, but people rarely give up looking for it.

Every time you subtract negative, you make room for more positive.

The life you are living now, all the hardships and trials; is just a testimony raising up to be told. You’re making history!

You Are smart enough to figure things out and you’re strong enough to manage your difficulties and you can let your dreams strengthen you.

What To Do When Your Plates Is Full

“It takes two years for a single pineapple to grow, It Takes Us Longer Because By The Time We’re Ripened, We’ll Have Much More Flavor. “

Why are we in such a hurry to get things done or to expect success to magically appear? Even at the cost of sometimes hurting others. Knocking over plates and piling personal issues on the nearest person to them.

It seems that no one is satisfied with their share of the proverbial pie. Come hooks, by crooks or by every means necessary, everyone tries reaching their goals.

Maybe, they’d rather try to make a very best effort to reach their goals, but are hindered by something or someone.

Even for those stars that they’ve been encouraged to reach for, may seem so far away.

For as long as I can remember… since ‘media‘ has been ‘a thing‘. Ultimately, everyone has been getting encouraged to do whatever their minds and hearts desire that make them set out to do the things they do.

The problem is, people sometimes, Don’t want to take the time to go as far as they can go with the goals that they initially begin. They get blocked.

There are various reasons why this happens but I’m not going to talk about why those many reasons exist . What I will do is offer suggestions on why you should finish what you start.

One of the main reasons people don’t finish what they start is because they get distracted by some other interest that had taken precedence over their initial interest.

Enough so, that they are incapacitated and are unable to operate efficiently without sacrificing one or two of their own dreams, desires or goals, (it doesn’t have to be their own problem, it can be someone elses). But they take it upon themselves to intervene. Without question, there are those who happily help others, constantly making those crucial decisions that lead to major sacrifices.

Forgetting about their one problems or food on their plate, making great lingerie lasting friendships along the way.

People usually allow room for others needs. Placing others before themselves. The problem with this is that they eventually wind up delaying, postponing, suspending, canceling even down right quitting altogether that dream that they once had.. Sometimes only moments ago.

This happens mostly because of our imperfect judgement of time and the bad timing on the behalf of the person or persons in need of that help.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with kindness. In fact I encourage kindness first… at all cost. However, there are cases, ( use your judgment), where people are kind to everyone but themselves.

We all can pretty much relate to this in one way or another. What happens to the person who neglects them self? I’m sure you get the picture, catch my drift And understand what I’m saying.

That’s why you must protect your plate from any extra entrees at all cost…

Why?

Because it’s usually full, that’s why.

It’s not just a Technicality. In reality, if you want to help someone you have to be in the position to help them. If not, you’re both severely damaged boats trying to float in the ocean, just waiting to sink.

What happens when you have way too much to eat? You may get sick right? Throw up, barf, vomit… You’d Puke!!!

Well, what do you think happens when you try to help someone, by sacrificing your self, your time, your efforts and kindness?

I know, I know, they say “Kindness has its own rewards. ”

Well… I guess… If you want to choose optimism in a society built from pessimistic attitudes. I suppose so. You can try kindness…

However, I can promise you that kindness, is the beginning of suffering… It may leave you happy that you’ve done something good for someone maybe you even saved the day… A lot of people were helped on account of your good deeds. They’re a lot better off than they were before you came to the rescue.

Nevertheless, by coming to the rescue the way you did, perhaps you have forgotten something important that you were supposed to do for yourself… That is unfortunately no longer an issue because you put it off for another day. The feeling that sometimes comes up afterwards is regret.

Why the tolerance of unnecessary suffering?

Some don’t realize that your plate is already filled and overflowing with your goals, tasks, projects, ideas, responsibilities and obligations?

Unless you are Already able, or were gifted to be born in an already comfortable lifestyle, you Really can’t afford to be that Superman or Superwoman that all your friends, family members, acquaintances and strangers trust that you are. You really can’t waste anymore of your own precious time to help others.

This is not bmean… Its survival…

If you’re having trouble taking care if yourself, its because you’re trying ever so hard to accommodate the relentless needs of others. This will not do. Especially if you’re trying to accomplish your own dreams and goals.

Why?

If you haven’t heard these sayings by now, then here you go!

“Your Time Is Precious. ”

“Time oh, give me time… 🎵🎵🎵. ”

“You only have one life to live. ”

“We spend our time trying to see things, when our perspective is one way, we lack the judgement to choose the right, (which usually requires a sacrifice of some type), and we never appreciate what we’ve go, until we can’t get it back.” Or

“These are some good times, so take a good look around. You may not know it now, but you’re going miss them.”

“There are times in our lives when we have trouble recognizing perfect moments until we realize they have passed us by and become memories.”

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. ”

If you are in need some encouragement, send your request!

Be as thorough as possible when explaining you issue, I will do my best to help you to resolve your them.

All tied up with no way out? Not Yet at least!

It doesn’t have to get that far though.

I’m sure that you’ve got my point by now. It takes time to grow. If we were some type of fruit-like creature, like a pineapple, things would happen a lot faster, The life-span of the average pineapple is… Well. . Short. But once they’re ripe, it won’t be too long afterwards that its devoured and enjoyed. We are not fruit.

“We are but simple creatures. Once ripened, we do fall off by the wayside.

We do wither away to practically nothing.

We do waste our given talents and wonder what happened later on.” -Anonymous

All while tying to find our place in this world we simultaneously try helping others in finding their own lives, helping them up along the way, in turn neglecting ourselves and our own.

Wouldn’t be so much easier if we were easy… and if we were capable of carrying our own plates as well as everyone else’s?

While there is some who can do this quite well. Like mothers, single parents, business owners and managers, etc. These are the exceptions. Their strength and courage are examples to us all.

Because juggling a family that includes children, school, work, employees, coworkers, companions, parents, siblings and those special persons in our lives, can be trying at times, at the most extremely stressful.

Nevertheless, the majority of the time we survive and pass those trials with flying colors and become as successful as we choose to be.

Furthermore, the majority of big sacrifices that come from our own plates are made to accommodate those issues pertaining to the needs and burdens of others ultimately leading to their dependence upon you.

Is It all good though?

Can it be done? Yes!

Because truthfully, we can do whatever, we emphatically make a conscious decision to choose to do.

If we set our minds to it and focus. Nevertheless, being aware that your time is precious and you would most certainly will regret wasting any of it if you do not accomplish at least ONE goal on your bucket list.

This can only be done if you are selective on the issues that you choose to address and are consistently selective with whom you choose to help in regards to importance.

Reality check… The person who you will be ultimately helping is yourself.

Test Yourself!

How can you recognize when to give your assistance to others?

Your heart won’t lie to you. Just follow your instincts.

How often are your plans interrupted?

How long does it take for you to get back on track after an unexpected event ? Do you?

Share an instant when you were unable to help someone because of an obligation, priority or responsibility? Did you feel guilty?

Believe it or not, after making changes to your life, ultimately realizing that you are only one person and that it’s alright to say a Non-Empathetic No… you will gain more control over your life and future events. Moreover, you will feel so much better about completing your goals.

What happens when you say ‘No’.

Beware… some people would try making you feel bad about your decision to help yourself first after their request for your assistance. Just remind them that if you are not able to help yourself, how can you help them?

It might seem like a ‘no brainer’ but there are people out there, maybe reading this post that Just got through asking someone that they KNOW are unable to help or that if they make that sacrifice it could hurt them in the long run… But do they care? Not really. That’s why you remind them.

In everything we do, our own thoughts can help us succeed, or they can help us fail. Maintain a positive attitude.

Whatever the case, remember that everything takes time. You need to spend time on yourself and it will take you longer to grow and ripen, so don’t waste it.

I Knew You’d Pull Through

I Knew You’d Pull Through

“A meeting is an event at which the minutes are kept and the hours are lost.” Anonymous

When facing a stressful crisis or a really intense moment… Let’s face it, sometimes we don’t, sometimes we can’t and sometimes we get caught off guard. Sometimes believe it or not, all it takes is a broken fingernail.

It doesn’t take much for someone get touchy, be insulted, get sensitive to an overly outspoken and brutally honest individual, even to easily get ticked off at something as simple as a misplaced or unexpected even misguided compliment.

People Just get offended from the most trivial things. Enough to knock that chip off of someone’s shoulder. That will sadly and metaphorically be getting them all riled up. Rasing blood pressure and causing unwanted, unnecessary and quite possibly unwarranted heart-ache.

There’s no sense in wasting much-needed precious energy on things that you cannot change. Furthermore, the majority of the times, people get upset as a result of the bad choices that they tend to inevitably make From time to time.

Either way, we always find a way to pull through. Unless, we are or feel hopeless. Which leads to an unfortunate state of helplessness In cases such as these, psychological intervention is recommended. You’ve got to get back on track.

I know you’d pull through because there is something special inside of every single person that keeps them going. Keeps them bouncing back and keeps them hopeful.

“If you want to make people angry, lie to them. If you want to make them absolutely livid, then tell ’em the truth.” – Anonymous

You Will Survive Those Truthful Experiences!

Imagine hearing everything you wanted to hear all the time. No bad news… No negativity… Nothing real…

Sometimes bad news is depressing… But nine times out of ten, bad news tends to be the truth. It’s usually the heart-wrenching truth. That’s why it’s so hard on the ears at first. But when the truth has time to settle, it becomes a pleasant experience that will linger for years to come!

Why the long stay? you may ask. A feeling of elation will linger when you know certain truths. Because knowledge is powerful.

The truth is having certain knowledge.

Knowing the truth will bring you joy. Accessing those memories, that give you your certainty are what give you that power of knowing.

So telling people the truth may temporarily make them angry but eventually free them from becoming angry at a future date. Giving them courage to face their problem. Besides, perhaps, if you choose otherwise, by then, they may get even more angry at you for Not telling or even taking so long to say something in the first place. Plus, it shows what kind of friend you are.

Besides that, you’ve gotta respect a person brave enough to tell you that awful truth… At least you have the truth.

Especially if it’s as bad as people think and say it is or was. Of course you’d survive those truthful experiences. These experiences and others.

Facing Our Fears

Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing. Also, If you didn’t know that having a good attitude is all you need because your biggest power will come once people underestimate you, your knowledge and your attitude towards your experiences, well now you know.

Moreover, you must realize that,

“Nothing would be put in your life if you weren’t strong enough to get through it.”- Anonymous

From Birth…

To adulthood…

We are strong enough…

To pull through… You did it then, you’ll do over and over again.
